DING LEUK KONG'S Deity's were initially brought over to Malaysia by the Foo Chow migrants to the then Malaya way back in the 1920's. The Original temple were from the Foo Chow Province in China. One of the migrant who brought over the Deity is the late Mr. Cheng Pang Chee. He fell ill in the 1950's and the Ding Leuk Kong's Deity's spirit came to his help. Eversince then, he vowed to help others by being the medium for Ding Leuk Kong.
The actual temple were first initiated in 1961.
Later on, Master Cheng Eng Ngioh(the present temple's medium), who is the son of the first Master Cheng Pang Chee, took over as the temple's medium after the demise of his father.
Under his charge, the Temple became very well-known to have cured various unexplained illnessess from people all over Peninsular Malaysia and overseas.
Currently, with a team of hard working committee members headed by Mr. Diong Seng Heong, they have finally commissioned the construction of the worlds largest statue of Ding Leuk Kong to be stationed in this Temple It took the Chinese masons three years to construct and have it installed. It cost a whopping RM 700,000.00 to construct the extension buildings complete with the Deity's structure. All money were collected through publis donations. Off course, the Chairman donated the most with RM 200,000.00 todate. The Temple Medium specially would like me to mention Mr. Diong Seng Heong for his sincere and generous contributions.
